Instructors/Presenters and Special Guests
Amber Bradford - Amber Bradford is a life long native of South Lake Tahoe and a 17 year
certified picture framer of Lake Tahoe Master Framing. She began framing through a class
at LTCC which she now instructs in the spring quarter.
"I have learned so many tips and tricks over my years, I love sharing the techniques
and values of custom framing. This workshop is a great way to focus on 2D framing
and presentation for photography. Framing allows the artist to present their vision in
the most effective way to an audience. The more they know about framing the better
their presentation. With so many new products and the ever changing world of
digital photography, continual education in materials is a vital part of the this. I still
learn new things everyday and have the same love for framing I did when I started."
Brandi Brown - Born and raised in South Lake Tahoe, Brandianne
Brown studied at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA
where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Film and Television
Production. Brandianne has always had a love for all aspects of
production. In high school, Brandianne interned at the local TV
station, KMTN Television, as the teen correspondent. This only
solidified her passion for video production. In college, Brandianne
received high marks for her thesis film on the Harvey's Wagon
Wheel Bombing and helped launch the University TV station, ROAR
Network. She is now the owner of Tahoe Production House, a Video
Production, Sound Recording, and Photography Studio, as well as
Princess Productions which handles all types of Social Media,
Marketing, and PR.
Brandianne's education and work experience with Lake Tahoe Television as the Production and
Marketing Manager has provided her with a strong foundation in managing production activities
and marketing strategies. As the industry moves forward in technology and the way we use the
Internet to market ourselves is an ever changing and growing focus to many. Brandianne has been a
leader in social media creating and managing many social networking sites. She recognizes that social
networking, production, and marketing is a great way to get brand recognition, create long lasting
relationships, generate new opportunities, as well as a resource to learn and find solutions to just
about any problem.

Eric Harrod - Born in Lake Tahoe, Eric Harrod is a junior-year college student majoring in Film &
Television at New York University. Eric earned awards and recognition for artistic ability at an
early age. While attending South Tahoe High, Eric concentrated his efforts on drawing and painting,
culminating in winning first place his senior year in the Congressional Art Contest for California's
Fourth District.
Eric attended UC Santa Cruz for his first two years of college, and originally majored in Art with a
focus on photography. Between leaving South Tahoe High and transferring to NYU, Eric tutored students
in three writing courses, won recognition in UCSC's freshman writing contest, designed graphics for a
local charity organization, and studied art in Italy. During this time, Eric developed an intense
passion for both creating art (in all its forms) as well as teaching others how to do so. His current
studies in NYU's film program focus on writing, directing, and cinematography.
Jon Paul - Originally from New York, I spent a good portion of my first 18 years indoors playing ice hockey.
At the age of nine my family moved out west to Arizona. Through hockey, I was invited to attend a boarding school
in Colorado where I was introduced to the outdoors. Along with an amazing curriculum that incorporated the
surrounding mountain environment into the learning process, I was also afforded my first opportunities to
travel to wild places. By the time of my graduation I had canoed the Green River of Utah, interacted with
migrating Grey Whales in Baja, and camped in grizzly country in Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.
These experiences motivated me to pursue a major course of study in Biology in college.
In 1991 I graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
I then began my lack of a career and pursued triathlons for about a decade. During this time I moved
to Lake Tahoe and added climbing, fly fishing, skiing, and any other outdoor pursuit I could find to
my time filling activities. All of these endeavors opened my eyes to the amazing beauty of wild,
pristine natural places.
My girlfriend at the time (now my wife!) often heard me say, "If I were a photographer I would take
a picture of that". After seeing these amazing places with the clarity of a focused athlete, the simple
beauty of nature had become engrained in my mind as a necessary ingredient to health and perspective in
life. In 1997 I purchased my first camera and began to capture the visions I was experiencing.
I spent two years learning the technical basics of photography. I sold greeting cards to pay for
film, shot weddings, portraits, property, and anything else that paid. Ultimately, I became dissatisfied
with my print quality from 35mm film. I made the move to large format film cameras and focused
exclusively on the natural landscape. In 2000, I opened a loft style gallery in a warehouse in
Stateline, Nevada. After a year and a half of building a reputation, I realized it was time to
relocate the gallery. In 2001, with coaxing from my wife ("You'll never look back and wonder, "What if?".),
we opened The Jon Paul Gallery in the premier shopping area in Lake Tahoe. We have never looked back.
In ten years of doing business here in South Lake Tahoe I have built a collector base which spans
all 50 U.S. states and more than 35 countries around the globe. I continue to pursue amazing moments
in nature, and to compose singular images in a considerate well thought out manner. My large format
equipment choices enable me to produce the finest most detailed prints possible. I continue to learn
every time I compose an image, and I continue to strive toward providing my collectors with finished
pieces that enhance their lives every day.
Please join me as my photographic journey continues.
