The Lake Tahoe Educational Foundation is pleased to announce
the availability of enrichment grant applications for the
fall semester of 2011. This year the Foundation has changed the
period for the acceptance of grant applications to twice
a year.
- Grant applications for the fall will be due on October
7, 2011

Spring applications are due on March 3, 2012
The twice a year cycle period was implemented to allow
a more equitable and efficient distribution of LTEF funds.
Over the past years the LTEF has funded numerous grants
that have supported outstanding programs in all LTUSD schools.
Last year the grants funded Anti-Bullying Programs, Enrichment
Clubs, Mad Science Program, Music Visiting Professors, Outdoor
Winter Education, Sphere of Influence, and Teen Truth Anti-Bullying
Programs for a total of $35,530.
The primary source of funds
comes from the annual Food Fest, which will be held on Saturday,
October 8 at Harrah's from 6:30-10. Tickets are $35 and
are available at all schools and the District Office.
