Our Mission:
LTEF is dedicated to enhancing the educational experience of the youth in our community.
Our Goals:

Build a relationship of business, education, and the community.

Raise funds that will enable the foundation to provide support for LTUSD programs.

Promote the value of education through recognition of Lake Tahoe Unified School District personnel with “Celebration of Education” and other activities.

Increase the Lake Tahoe Educational Foundation’s visibility in the community.

a Grant
For the 2024-25 school year, we will be pausing our enrichment grant process. Our mission remains to enhance the educational experiences of the youth in our community. We are taking this pause while we engage the education community in conversation to assess future educational needs and how we can best serve our students.
Support
LTEF
Funds supporting the Lake Tahoe Educational Foundation are raised through annual mail solicitations and our fundraising events throughout the year. The Foundation also appreciates local business partners and supporters.
Additional fundraising opportunities include, but are not limited to:

Sponsorship of one of our events

Direct support to the foundation, such as cash, services or estate planning

Select an area of support such as school, program or subject

Creation of a designated fund through the Foundation

The Lake Tahoe Educational Foundation is funded solely by individual and business donations from community members who value education. If you would like to contribute to the LTEF Enrichment Program or if you would like to become involved with LTEF in some other capacity, please contact us with your request and contact information.
